It's been more than four years since HP® Senior VP of Printer Supplies Pradeep Jotwani publicy stated HP's commitment to fairly compete with aftermarket. Mr. Jowani offered HP's position, driven by the thenrecent federal litigation filed by Lexmark® against Static Control , that HP® would not be following down this (Lexmark's) path using chips as a lockout device.
